Alpaca Cardigan - Bucking Bronc

The cardigans are finally here! These have been something we've been trying to do for a few years now, but couldn't get quite right. It wasn't until we started working with our knitting partners in Peru that we were finally able to achieve this sweater that we are truly proud of.

These sweaters are about 90% hand-knit, with roughly 10% machine interaction. So much human touch has to go into these sweaters because of all the intricacies in the pattern, the designs, and the different linking across the shoulders and hems. 

Made in a super-soft blend of alpaca and cotton using undyed, local yarns. The alpaca is a great way to keep this sweater nice and light, but still retaining a huge amount of warmth. The cotton comes in handy for giving the yarns some structure.
